Ancient Heritage Dairy is a  sheep dairy nestled between the foothills of the Oregon Cascade Mountains and the fertile Willamette Valley. We are a family dairy with everyone caring for lambs and our ewes, making the best cheese we can.

Our goal is to make clean, wholesome cheese using the best of old techniques and modern methods. Creating farmstead, artisan products means we raise and produce the milk for our cheese from our place, so our pastures, barns, parlor and cheese making room are all designed and maintained with the sole purpose of creating a nourishing and enjoyable product, our cheeses.

We chose Ancient Heritage Dairy as our name to represent a connection to healthy food that comes from the very roots of the earth and our heritage of making authentic food.

"Raised with respect, nourished to nourish you" is our mission statement. It means that we grow our grass with sustainable and organic methods, we don't use hormones or drugs to maintain our sheep, we establish animal management practices that create peace and stability for our sheep so that they will provide the most healthy milk they possess.
